Grasp Awesome
GitNostr is a broad ecosystem of independent tools built around open protocols, not a product or a centrally controlled suite.
This ngit-docs site focuses on ngit, the related ngit-* services, and GitWorkshop. These tools are maintained in tandem by DanConwayDev, the creator of GRASP.
NIP-34 describes how clients announce repositories and collaborate. GRASP describes how compatible services host Git data. Anyone can build a client or service around those shared contracts.
This is a starting point, not an app store or an approval list. Projects vary in maturity and in how much of each protocol they implement. For another protocol-first overview, gitgrasp.com also maintains a concise software list.

- Flotilla Budabit is a community-first Nostr client that brings repository discovery, issues, pull requests, and team conversation into the same social space. Built by Five. Source.
Build with AI
- Shakespeare is an AI-assisted app builder that can keep generated source in Git repositories hosted through GRASP. Built by Soapbox. Source.
- Nostr Station is a development workspace combining AI coding assistants, project previews, and ngit workflows with Amber signing and GRASP publishing. Built by Jared Logan. Source.
- Private Provider is an Android development workspace with the Pi coding agent, Cashu-paid AI and support for TEE-backed models. Its ngit integration covers repositories, issues, pull requests, and releases, with signing through Amber. Source.
Command line
- ngit is a Git remote helper and collaboration CLI for normal Git workflows over Nostr. Built by DanConwayDev. Source.

gitcommands cover NIP-34 and GRASP operations. Built by fiatjaf. Source. - n34 is a focused NIP-34 CLI for repository announcements, issues, patches, and pull requests. Built by Awiteb. Source.
Releases
- Zapstore is an open Android app store that finds software published over Nostr and verifies APK hashes and signing certificates. Built by franzap. Source.
- zsp is a command-line publisher for Android application metadata, assets, and NIP-82 software releases. Built by franzap. Source.
- GitWorkshop browses NIP-82 releases alongside the repository activity that produced them. Built by DanConwayDev. Source.
- ngit publishes generic software assets and Zapstore-compatible Android releases from the command line. Built by DanConwayDev. Source.
CI
- ngit-ci is a Nostr CI coordinator implementation that runs selected repositories' workflows and publishes signed results. Built by DanConwayDev. Source.
- Hive CI runs GitHub Actions-compatible workflows on decentralised Loom workers, with coordination and payments over Nostr. Built by Arjen. Source. Protocol.
The prior art and acknowledgements record how the Hive CI protocol, Budabit, Loom, built by Arjen, and rith informed the current Nostr CI design.
GRASP servers
- ngit-grasp is the actively maintained reference implementation used by this site's operator guides. Built by DanConwayDev. Source.
- Pyramid is a general-purpose Nostr relay with GRASP support. Built by fiatjaf. Source.
- n34-relay is an early GRASP server implementation. Built by Awiteb. Source.
- ngit-relay is the retired predecessor to ngit-grasp. Use ngit-grasp for a new deployment. Built by DanConwayDev. Source.
Discovery services
- ngit-indexer is a Nostr relay that gathers Git repository announcements from across the Nostr network. Built by DanConwayDev. Source.
Social clients
- Ditto offers excellent integration of Git activity and software releases into its Nostr social feed.
- Amethyst offers excellent Git and software release integration, including repository browsing and issue creation on Android.
- Other social clients have integrations too, with support varying by client.
Experiments
Projects exploring different ways to collaborate and build over Nostr.
- GitPassport explores a shared project home for code on different forges, bringing mirrors, discussions, releases, and funding together (project documentation).
- Gitano is a work-in-progress minimal Git interface with repository discovery and an issue and pull request activity feed (announcement).
- PRana explores cross-project issue triage, complexity estimates, and contributor claims for people and agents.
- grasp-ci is an early CI experiment running Nix/devenv jobs from NIP-34 activity, with its own format for publishing results.
